What Liberty Ate Magazine – Issue #3 – One year of beautiful imaginary

We are today at the third issue of our independent magazine and even more, we have managed to pull out a print issue to celebrate our one year anniversary!

For this fall, I drew upon my childhood memories a great editorial story on Romanian style, photographed in a candid way. Paring red and white and folkloric symbols with earth’s colors in order to create a moody era which seems to be the perfect take on too fast modern lifestyle. The editorial is show-casing bright colors to opponent dark and earth colors and the images produced are graceful and intimate, celebrating warm, honest and family feeling.

Furthermore, you will read about very talented international artists. Starting with the whimsical absolute gorgeous illustration of Mădălina Andronic, a Romanian Illustrator recently graduated from London’s University of Arts. She enshroud us in a fairy-tale with her exuberant creations. And continuing with various recipes of Indian inspiration, you will be taken later on through various world cuisines.  Knowing how hard is to complement seasonal produces, our contributor – Liliana Rusu, is giving us a hand, by presenting few of her favorite autumn harvest produces.

Ana Maria Ciolacu, the author of justlovecookin.com – a regular new contributor to WLA mag – has prepared for us an incursion into the magical Turkish cuisine and a delicious grilled trout captured in a rustic scene.

And even more, in this issue, we thought about men and what food resonates best with them. Therefore, we came up with some gorgeous and healthy also, ideas of different type of food, that a man will always enjoy.

Not least, your eyes will be charmed by the very appetizing food of John Gregory-Smith, a passionate young chief, writer and recipe developer, based in London, recipes brought to you from his latest cookbook – Mighty Spice.

We have managed also to gather enthusiast food bloggers and photographers from all around the world and to share their thoughts about the food they like and their life philosophy. Thus, Ines from Argentina has charmed us with her floating island, Laura from Germany has introduced us in a fairy-tale scene with snow and gloomy light, Emily from Bucharest has shared with us her holidays cupcakes secrets, Irina as usual has prepared for us a beautiful and super healthy carrot raw soup to enjoy through winter, Beatrice from Bucharest – whom you might remember from our very first issue – thank you Bea for supporting us all the way, has prepared an absolutely gorgeous raw vegan cake that will take your breath away.

For those interested to get a printed copy of this issue, just stop by the shop and purchase your printed copy.

I should say a million thank you to all our wonderful readers, contributors, and to everyone that has supported us from the very beginning, to Ana Maria, that has contributed to this issue, not only with photographs and recipes, but also with the administrative work behind the glossy pages, a huge amount of real work has been given to this third issue! I hope you all will enjoy it and appreciate it as its true value!
