I care for myself. The more solitary, the more friendless, the more unsustained I am, the more I will respect myself.” – Jane Eyre, Charlotte Bronte
I was lately juggling between work and few spare moments, but this time is over now. I’m officially in vacation and I don’t remember to have had wanted it so much before.
In the next weeks you will find me enjoying the beauty of Romanian country side fields, the warmth of the family long time no seen, the impatience to meet with old friends. I will come back with more energy, stories and photography to share.
I’m currently working on a very special project, that I hope I would be able to share with you all soon or at least some pieces of it. Till then enjoy your summer, your vacation and try this easy peasy summer cocktail.

Delicate cocktail
Ingredients (for 2 servings) :
1/2 preserved apricot (compote)
1 slice of grapefruit
2 tablespoons of vodka
few leaves of mint
1 tablespoon brown sugar
soda water to serve
Directions :
1. Cut and peel a grapefruit. Cut between membranes to release segments. Reserve 1 slice and cut it in small parts. Do the same with the apricot. Combine fruits in a bowl.
2. Place mint and sugar in processor. Blend until mint is finely chopped, occasionally scraping down sides of bowl. In a cocktail shaker place the fruits, mint sugar, vodka and water. Shake well. Serve with ice.

This does sounds like a lovely cocktail and I really like the container you used. Is that wood ?
Hi Kankana! Thank you! The glass is hand-made from marble. I was falling in love with it too, it’s a great visual innovation.
