Seafood remembers me of France. Or Ocean City’s salty air. On New Year’s Eve or in a late lazy evening is surprising and tasty. I like it with peas and rice because their sweet taste is in balance with the sourish salty taste of the fish.
Winter Seafood Salad
Ingredients ( for 2 servings):
50g basmati rice
50g frozen peas
2 teaspoons of fresh chopped chive
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoon soya sauce
salt and pepper
1. Preheat the oil in a skillet. Sauté the seafood for 3-5 minutes. Add the soya sauce and cook for 3 minutes more.
2. Add the basmati rice and peas precooked and continue to cook at medium heat for 5-10 minutes, or until the peas are soft. Season with salt and pepper. Server with finely chopped chive and lime juice.
