Gazpacho in a Torrid Summer

Posted on August 27th, 2011

I ate gazpacho first time in my life, in Strasbourg, with my friend Andreea. Even if Strasbourg was not Spain, the soup was amazing. Later on, I ate gazpacho in a torrid summer in Barcelona and the taste was amazing. That summer, gazpacho fed us more then other meal and made us never forget it. And today, when I almost forgot that summer exists in Czech Republic, the heat landed on these territories. After weeks of bad, bad weather, a nice sun made our bodies to feel again the real summer. This recipe made me remember the amazing Barcelona summer. You must to try this recipe at home because, is absolutely delicious, and there is no better gazpacho then with roasted vegetables.

I spent last week studying and working and also preparing for our upcoming vacation. On Monday I’ll be in Vienna, and in three weeks in Venice. I’m really excited about these vacations, because the pressure and stress started to build up around me. In between, I was working on the fall issue of Atelierul magazine and WLA magazine. Atelierul has successfully made its way to the printed format and is available to be purchased in Romania. In few days I’ll receive the first printed issue and I’ll post here more details about it. What Liberty Ate magazine its my next project and I can speak now officially about it. WLA magazine will be an international magazine that will speak about all things food and…

Cheese Burger Morning

Posted on August 13th, 2011

I woke up this morning craving after some cheese and olives. I don’t know why, but when I was a kid I didn’t like at all the olives. Later I started, by some miracle to eat them. I like to eat cheese in the morning, and I totally love the buttered toasted bread. Any combination of these will make me happy and make me start my day right. What I like most at this kind of burger is the cheese. Its melted cheddar and pickling Brie cheese, hot tomato sauce and the delightful crunchy buttered bread, make an incredible combination and diversity for a burger.  Give it a try at home!
