Spring Photography and a Fish Recipe

The past weeks have been full with photography, more then ever, part because spring came and with this amazing sun and lots of things to photograph, I couldn’t resist. Part, because of my photography courses.

I’m taking some photography courses with Carlos Lopez, a great photographer that I found here, in Brno, and I become more and more interested in all technical aspects of photography. How to make everything look extremely natural, how to catch that feeling of the moment. With a lot of things to study and photograph, I started to have a small portfolio of food, but surely it will grow. Have a look below at few of my shoots from this week and past weeks, plus a very simple spring and light recipe.

Ingredients for 4 persons :

– 400 g fillet, halibut fish
– 300 g baby spinach leaves
– 4 medium slices of toasted bread
– 4 teaspoons of curry sauce
– raspberries
– rosemary
– 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Directions :
Preheat the olive oil in a large skillet and cook shortly the fish on each side (1-2 minutes). Be careful when you’ll turn it, the fillet is very sensitive and can be broken easily. Add seasoning and rosemary. When done, set aside.

Assemble each plate : put a toasted slice of bread, brush it with curry sauce, add the spinach leaves, then the fish and raspberries. Serve it with white wine.
