Honey Corn Flakes (Different) Doughnuts

This week I tried a special extra easy and healthy snack. It has just honey, corn flakes, almond flakes, walnuts powder and raisins. It has the enough sweetness to fill you in a day. It has just raw ingredients and it requires super less efforts to prepare it. I didn’t want just to make ordinary muesli bars, so I’ve used corn flakes and shape them with the honey in a doughnut pan. They came out so cute and precious!

Ingredients for honey corn flakes doughnuts :

– 300 g corn flakes
– 2 tablespoons of walnuts powder
– 2 tablesspoons of almonds powder
– 2 tablespoons of almonds flakes
– 2 tablespoons of raisins
– 1 teaspoon of almond extract
– 1 teaspoon of water
– 100 ml honey

Directions :

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Mix the almond extract with the water and dip the raisins in this juice. The raisins will expand in the juice. Then, mince all your ingredients in a food processor. Add the raisins and mix just until combined.

Pour the honey in a small saucepan and heat it for 1-2 minutes. Pour the honey over the rest of ingredients and mix well, until everything is coming together.

Brush the doughnut pan with oil to prevent to have sticky doughnuts and then add the mixture in each cavity. Give them a nice flat shape and bake for 3-5 minutes in the oven. after this time, put them out and sprinkle with almond flakes and let them cool on a rack. Keep them covered in plastic sheet in the fridge for maximum one week and serve them with tea or coffee.
