Sunday Brunch

Good morning world, from my home in Brno! It’s Sunday, and even if I woke up early, I didn’t had my breakfast, so I said, “why not a brunch?”. So here we are with a special Sunday brunch and my beautiful orange roses!

I made American pancakes, I prepared a delicious corizo croissant sandwich, café Cortado and orange juice.

I like too much croissants, so this morning I prepared an exquisite sandwich starting from a french butter croissant with pesto, dried corizo thinly sliced, tomato cherries and Roquefort cheese.

For the pancakes I used 100 gr flour, 100 ml milk, 1 egg, a pinch of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar and a 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder.  I mixed everything, then heated few drops of olive oil in a pan and “the babes” were done.

I filled them with bio cherry jam made by may grand-ma, and with chocolate dip. They were amazing! The orange juice balanced perfectly the sweetness of the pancakes.

And finally, I drank my coffee in the morning sun, watching an old movie!
